Insurance and Payment

Q: What types of payment do you accept?
A: E-transfer (vdaramassage@gmail.com), Debit are preferred. Visa and Mastercard also accepted

Q: Do you bill insurance companies?

A: Yes, but there are things you need to know.
*The primary plan ALWAYS has to be billed first. I cannot bill two plans for one appointment unless they are both Blue Cross.
*I do not know your plan details. I cannot know when you will max out your coverage, or if you require a Rx prior to your initial appointment.
Please always be prepared to pay for your appointment should there be any issues with your plan.

Q: What companies do you bill?
A: *Blue Cross
*Canada Life (previously named/ included: Great West Life)
*Sun Life
All other plans I will issue you a receipt to be submitted by you.

Q: Do you require a Rx for my insurance?
A: That is dependent on your plan. Again I don't personally I know the ins and outs of your plan,

Q: Can you bill my insurance for my late/missed appointment fee?
A:  Absolutely not. This is insurance fraud.

Missed Appointments and Last Minute Cancellations

Q: When can a fee be charged to me if I cancel?
A: If you cancel between the 24-2 hour mark of your appointment there will be a Late Cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment cost. After the 2 hour mark there will be a fee of 100% of the appointment cost.

Q: Why do you charge a fee if I need to reschedule?
A: Because being self employed if I am not working my bills aren't getting paid, to be blunt. I made an appointment for you and booked others around it. Its not always possible for me to fill your spot last minute.

Q: I can’t cancel my appointment online, why is that?
A: If the time is under the 24 hours mark, you will need to call 204.981.6558 to leave a message or speak with me regarding your cancellation. Notifications are sent 36 hours (email) in advance and again 2 hours (text) in advance, so you have time to make changes if you require them.

Q: If I have an outstanding fee can I still book another appointment?
A: No. All previous invoices must be cleared before rebooking.

Q: If my insurance won’t go through and I cannot pay for my appointment can I cancel last minute?
A: No.  This will fall under the Late Cancellation Policy.
